After reading the scenario, I would like to approach Maria as I believe she would feel comfortable and empowered to make her own decision. I believe that it becomes very important in such cases to be able to provide a constant support and education along the journey and as Maria is seen to be a high school drop-out it can be said that she might not have been provided any proper education on the maternal health approaches (Berk, 2018)
